Artist Gail Rubinfeld's new "Selby Gardens Montoype Series" inspired by the varied natural beauty of Sarasota's Selby Botanical Gardens. The series comprises using the printmaking process of drawing on an art plate and running the painted plate through a press on printmaking paper. This new series consists of several black and white and color prints created this spring. Printmaking techniques offers a wide variety of new opportunities for exploration of the printmaking technical processes including painting, line work, trace monotype, collagraphs, etc.
